Eat right

A good tooth brushing routine and eating the right food will help you keep your teeth healthy for life. Dental plaque develops on everyone’s teeth but if there is sugar in food or drink then this plaque produces acid which eats into the tooth – dental decay. As well as tooth decay, sugar is the cause of many other health problems. So simple, avoid sugar.

We recommend that you eat fresh food. If you eat packaged food then check the back of the package.

Every packaged food item sold has a list of ingredients in a table called Nutritional Information.

In that list is a line of Carbohydrates and under this is – Sugars. This should be low – below 10g per 100grams
